8 Flawless and Effortless Beauty Tips

I LOVE everything related to beauty makeup and fashion. But I wasn't always like that, and it took me a long time (22 years to be exact) to master my skills. With shows like Keeping Up With The Kardashians , Pretty Little Liars, and Gossip Girl, young girls have flocked to their mirrors, quickly to point out their flaws, leading to developing insecurities. I would just like to start off by saying that no one is perfect, not even Kim K. This woman has a huge team of stylists and makeup artists behind her look and tbh , she's pretty much an alien being led in a lab . So before you kill your confidence before you allow yourself to flourish, read these 8 tips on how to perfectly kill your makeup.

1. Foundation.

We've all been where we've bought a shade of foundation that was too light or too dark for our skin. The best thing I have ever done is to go to  match girls my skin and my skin type. I have tried so many different foundations and for 2 years I have been obsessed with Estee Lauder's Double Wear Foundation. I apply it with my Beauty Blender and it covers perfectly, I absolutely love it. Quick Tip - hover your beauty blender underwater for about 30 seconds, squeeze the excess water until the it is damp, then apply your foundation. The results are sheer massacre .

2. Eyelashes.

Since I was 13 I have coated my lashes from the bottom to the top and they never stayed flawless so I was wondering what the problem was! So I started to coat the top of my lashes and then go back down and OMG the difference is crazy. My lashes have so much more volume this way! The mascara I swear by is Too Faced Better Than  Mascara . It's all and more. Also, when your mascara is weak, add a few drops of Visene to the tube and mix it with the brush. Works like a charm.

3. Kissed by the sun.

Blush is uncertain, because if you apply too much of it in the wrong area, you'll likely end up looking like a clown, and that's definitely not what we want. What I find useful is to apply a pink blush to your cheeks before applying the foundation for a youthful glow.

4. Holy Brows.

Your Flawless and Effortless Beauty remember when eyebrows were not even important? A little missed on these days. I used to pluck my eyebrows every day (when thin eyebrows were the thing) and now I pluck them about every 4 months and just clean them by pinning them here and there. To fill them in, I use the Anastasia Brow Wiz. I would definitely suggest watching a tutorial on how to complete them , it took me a little while to figure it out.

5. Highlight.

Ugh, my last obsession. I love heavy highlights because I love the shiny look ; the best highlighter I have used is Naked Illuminated glitter powder. It's literally amazing a. I love heavy highlights so I layer my highlights with a cheap cream highlighter like this NYX and then put it on with my Naked Powder.

6. Cat's eye.

Cry my best friend for making me learn how to properly cat eye. Looking at the other techniques is how I developed mine, and over time I perfected it! Everything is matter of practice, practice, practice! It might sound strange, but apply mascara before liquid eyeliner,it helps guide your cat eye.

7. Bronza .

When I was in high school , I was covering literally every inch of my face bronzer. It was a mess. Over time, I learned the difference between highlighting and contouring. Bronzer should be applied where the sun would hit your face - forehead, bridge of nose, cheekbone and chin.

8. Define your look.

Finish your look with a setting spray that makes your makeup last all day and night. My favorite is the Urban Decay Long Lasting Fixing Spray .

Hope these 8 tips will help you slay your makeup like the queen that you are! In addition to these tips, I have found it very helpful to watch YouTube videos on specific things, some ideas being, getting the perfect cat's eye, filling in your eyebrows, revising the foundations, outlining your lip, and contouring. Sometimes when you watch someone else put on perfect makeup, you learn their technique and you are automatically a natural! Get it, girl.
