Screen printing Dubai

 Screen printing Dubai

Screen printing evolved from the ancient art of stenciling that took place in the late 1800s and over time with modifications the method evolved into an industry. In the 19th century, it remained a simple process using fabrics like organdy stretched over wooden frames to hold stencils in place during printing. It was not until the 20th century that the process became mechanized , usually for printing flat posters or packaging and fabrics.Initially, although not a well-known process, screen printing bridged the gap between manual production and automated printing, which was much more expensive. It quickly moved from craft to mass production, especially in the Dubai, and in doing so, opened up a whole new area of printing capabilities and transformed the advertising industry.
Today it has become a very sophisticated process, using cutting edge fabrics and inks combined with computer technology. Often, screen printing replaces other processes such as offset lithography. As a printing technique, it can print an image on almost any surface such as paper, card, wood, glass, plastic, leather or any other fabric. The iPhone , the solar cell, and the hydrogen cell are all screen printed products - and they would not exist without this printing process.

Production
Screen printing is a technique that involves using a woven mesh screen to support an ink blocking stencil to receive a desired image. The screen stencil forms open areas of mesh that transfer ink or other printable materials, pressing through the mesh like a sharp-edged image onto a substrate (the item that will receive the image)A squeegee is moved across the screen stencil, forcing the ink through the mesh openings to wet the substrate during the squeegee. When the screen bounces off the substrate, the ink remains. Basically, it's about using a mesh stencil to apply ink to a substrate, whether it's t-shirts, posters, stickers, vinyl, wood, or other materials.Screen printing is also sometimes known as screen printing. One color is printed at a time, so multiple screens can be used to produce a multi-color image or design .

When and where is screen printing used?
Screen printing is most commonly associated with t-shirts, drawstrings, balloons, bags, and merchandise, however, this process is also used when applying latex to promotional printed scratch cards or for a process. decorative print called spot UV.While using the same process of squeegees and screens, the clear coating is then exposed to UV lamps for the drying process.Mainly used to enhance logos or represent certain texts, Spot UV is a great way to take your printing to the next level.

No Seriously, how does it work?
Ok, don't say we didn't warn you. There's a reason screen printing turns out best when done by professional t-shirt companies like 1 Hour Tees. Experience, craftsmanship and the right equipment combine to create the perfect t-shirt.Here is a detailed look at how we screen our t-shirts. "How it's made?" From Cue Discovery Channel industrial and upbeat music and dive straight into the wonderful world of screen printed t-shirts.

The screen
Once you're happy with the mockup of how your shirts will look, it's time to get started. Try to mentally imagine the screen on a screen door of a house. We use something like this (but of much better quality). It's basically a screen with a bunch of tiny little holes. We take the screen (it is fixed in a wooden frame) and begin to prepare it. It is then covered with a layer of emulsion which will prevent the ink from passing. The end result is a two-tone color (green and the screen color which is usually a shade of yellow). Colors on screen do not matter and will not affect the final printing process. We also take care of some backstage elements to prepare for a draw. This overall setup for screen printing is much longer than DTG printing because we have to do everything manually by hand.

The color
This is where the magic happens. We take our custom colors and start mixing and matching until we have the exact colors you specified. We only use high quality inks that are designed to last for a long time. The inks we use are also very thick which means the design will look really good.
There really isn't any more. We simply follow the color mixing instructions and within minutes we have created the exact color you specified.

Press
The press is where the shirt is screen printed. Imagine a 12-armed metal beast from a mythical Viking tale. It spins and there are a lot of metal parts. On each arm there is a place where the wooden screen printing (which we designed for your shirts) is placed. The t-shirt is stretched over a device looking for an ironing board. Everything is lined up with frick in lasers , so the design of all of your shirts is located in the same position. The screens are then lowered onto the top of the t-shirt. We pour the custom ink concoction on it, then use a rubber squeegee to move the ink from one end of the screen print to the other very quickly . As the ink moves across the screen, the t-shirt absorbs the ink on the front and the pattern begins to appear.Depending on what colors you wanted, we may need to mix colors (more magic) and the t-shirt can go through two or more screen prints using different colors (and a different arm of the 12 arm metal beast. The end result is a T-shirt that has the exact same design and color that you wanted.

The dry
We then dry our shirts in a dryer. It is more of a conveyor belt type device that has been set to an exact temperature to ensure that shirts dry in one pass and colors do not bleed. After the t-shirt comes out on the other end, we inspect it to make sure it looks exactly like the mockup we sent you earlier.

The final product
Unlike DTG printing, screen printing is done entirely by hand. This type of printing is valid for works of art that have only 1-2 colors or huge quantities. You can tell that a t-shirt has been screen printed if you run your hand over the ink. It will have a high feel. This is because the ink is placed on the front of the t-shirt.Since screen printing is a highly personalized job, it will take us 10 business days to create your order.

We recommend screen printing for simple company logos, team names, and t-shirts with text. Plus, screen printing works great with both light and dark t-shirts. Often times DTG has more difficulty with dark shirts, but screen printing, as long as the right inks are used, will stand out over any other t-shirt customization technique.
